Well come to the Leek Team Area Benefice
The Leek Team Area Benefice in the Church of England Diocese of Lichfield is made up of the four Parishes of St Edward’s, All Saints, St Luke’s & St Paul’s and St Matthew’s.
I can now confirm (joyfully!) that there have been no further objections to the Church Commissioners decision to approve the proposed Pastoral Scheme for the Leek Deanery and that it will come into effect on 1st February 2025. It’s been a long journey but what this means in practice for us is that the Leek Team Benefice will become the Leek Area Team Benefice and the parishes of St Edward’s Cheddleton and St Chad’s Longsdon will officially become part of the extended benefice.
