News

Visit our News section for all the latest announcements from our Churches and The Leek and Meerbrook Parish team.

Important information about Remembrance Sunday 8th November: The Remembrance Service at St Edward’s on 8th November will begin at 9.30am instead of what has become our usual time of 10.00am. This is because the Team Rector needs to attend a short service at the Monument by 11.00am which will be attended by the Mayor of Leek and the Chair of Leek RBL who will lay all the wreaths on behalf of organisations who send them in. Please note that there will be no public ceremony at the Monument. Instead people are being encouraged to stand outside their front doors at home to observe the two minute silence and Leek TV will live stream the wreath laying at the Monument for those who wish to watch it.

Welcome to the Leek & Meerbrook Parish

The Team Parish of Leek & Meerbrook in the Church of England Diocese of Lichfield is made up of the four Districts of St Edward’s & St John’s, All Saints, St Luke’s & St Paul’s and St Matthew’s.

There is great diversity within the Team with space for a wide variety of Christian spirituality. We value the distinctive contribution made by each congregation.

Each district is responsible for its own mission and ministry but, where appropriate, we pool resources and work together.
