Messy Church craft activity

Our theme this month is “Lift High the Banner”.

Messy Church is a relaxed and informal approach to worship that involves lots of fun activities, celebration and hospitality. Ideal for young families that don’t already belong to another form of church but it’s not just for children! All ages are welcome, from new born to senior citizen.

This month we’ll be starting to create a banner for Leek Club Day, amongst other activities. Hence our theme for this month “Lift High the Banner” as on Club Day we want to hold our banner high to show that Jesus is important to us. We’ll be joining with all the other churches in Leek to send out our message. This year it’s All Saints’ Church’s turn to lead the celebration and there’ll be bands, singing and a big parade. We’ll also be accompanied by Bishop Geoff on the day, 8th July 2017.

So do come along on Sunday to find out more about it, to put your fingerprint on the Dove of peace, make hands of community and to celebrate. The activities will be followed by tea, so if you feel you can bring something along to share, your contributions will be gratefully received. In the meantime, Messy Blessings from the Messy Church team!

All Saints’ Parish Hall is situated next to the church.
