The Reverend Nigel Irons, currently serving at All Saints’ in Burton on Trent,  has been appointed to the post of Rector for the Leek & Meerbrook Team. He is expected to take up the position around Easter.

Bronze award for St Matthew’s

Each year, the Diocese of Lichfield holds a best kept churchyard competition and this year St Matthew’s Church has been awarded a bronze certificate. Congratulations to Basil Whittaker and to all who have helped him maintain the churchyard to such a high standard.
