A Message from the Malins family!

We are looking forward to joining you soon at St Luke’s and St Paul’s and finding out what adventures we can have together in Leek.  Just so you know what to expect here are a few brief words to describe us.

Matt – I was ordained in 2012 and am coming to the end of my curacy at St George’s in Tamworth.  Before then I worked in IT for Shropshire Council also working as an Audio Visual engineer.  I studied in Nottingham gaining a masters in theology, which is on top of my first degree in Audio and Acoustics from Salford.  I enjoy maths and science, but don’t hold that against me.  I also enjoy tinkering and fixing things as well as spending time with a snooker cue.  I am musical and have more instruments than is strictly necessary but I do my best to convince Cathy that they are all needed.

Cathy – I am very creative and enjoy making many things including fused glass, and am fortunate enough to have my own small studio.  Prior to having the children I worked for Social Services and ran a Day Service for adults with learning disabilities, but that seems like a lifetime ago now!  I love to be involved in church family life and we love to entertain and socialise as we build relationships with those around us.

Amelia – I am seven and I love playing with friends and am learning to swim.  I enjoy drama and singing, and like to be involved in whatever is going on.  My church family is very important to me and I love Jesus.

Jacob – I am (nearly) four and the world is my climbing frame.  I like anything with wheels, running and generally smiling at people.  I love to dance at church and show off my groovy moves.
